"I am writing to tell you about how pleased I am with the condition of my physical well-being in general, but especially concerning my ailing right shoulder, thanks to you.  My wife, Joyce, a Pilates instructor, has been a client of yours for a couple of years and looks forward to her massages and always wanted me to give it a try.  When Joyce gave me a gift certificate for a massage at Massage Movement two Christmases ago, I had no idea how wonderful that gift was going to be.  She thought the gift certificate was the only way to get me to go visit your office.  She said, "I bet Therese can help you with your shoulder pain".  I was somewhat skeptical because I had already tried a chiropractor, which did not seem to help at all.

As you know, I had only had a couple of massages in my life at that point, and both were while on vacations.  I had been experiencing significant pain in my right shoulder for some time.  A couple of years prior it only caused discomfort when I made certain "overhand" type motions, like throwing a ball.  By the time Joyce gave me the gift certificate, the discomfort had become a non-stop pain in my shoulder, even when just driving my car.  It was difficult to sleep at night, and I was taking pain meds every day.

On that first "gift certificate" visit you, I told you about the pain I was experiencing in my shoulder and you addressed it during my massage. It seemed to help some, so I began coming in every other week or so, and as a result, my shoulder pain was subsiding and I was beginning to really enjoy the "relaxation spell" you put me under while you worked on me.  I now look forward to my monthly visits, and am amazed and somewhat disappointed that the hour seems to pass so quickly.

This writing is long overdue.  I have been telling you for quite awhile now that I was going to write this letter "someday", well, here it is.  My shoulder has been virtually pain-free for about a year and a half now.  I never take any pain meds at all.  Thank you so much.  See you, Wednesday and the first Wednesday of every month!"
